In 1995, after years of working as a "regular" house painter, I began working for a crew that specialized in restoration painting, learning the art(s) of glazes, faux finishing, and specialty finishes in historic Antebellum homes in  LA. and TX.  After returning home to Denver, CO  I was hired by a company that required a Sandblaster.  Since Sandblasting is the exact opposite of painting (one requires the skill of applying a fine layer to a product, while the other, requires the skill and knowledge of taking a fine layer off of a product).  I excelled quickly and soon began my own business in 2001.
